Renovating the family home in Olathe, Kansas was a deeply personal and rewarding project. The design drew inspiration from French style while embracing the warmth and charm of a cottage, creating a home that feels both timeless and inviting. Close collaboration with the contractor and subcontractors ensured that every detail, from structural updates to finishes, was executed with care and precision.

In every room, each piece of antique furniture, artwork or accessory, was hand-selected to tell a unique story while also contributing to the overall composition of the home. The spaces were curated to feel layered and lived-in, yet thoughtful, with each vignette designed to evolve with the seasons.

The renovation balanced modern updates with the original character of the house. Layouts, millwork, and finishes were carefully considered to maintain warmth, familiarity, and function for everyday life, while still embracing the curated, story-driven approach.
